This Charvel Pro-Mod DK24 HH FR M Mahogany with Quilt Maple
2969431558 is a great looking guitar as it comes stock. We usually don’t go for gold hardware, but we have to admit that it goes very nicely with the warm tones of this orange-stained quilted maple top and the light maple neck and headstock.
We can’t resist to see what even a great setup like this would look like with a few of our favorite adjustments. What if we reversed the headstock, and what if we swapped in single coils pickups in the neck and middle positions, to get those round and quacky lead and in-between tones?
That’s more like it, right!? Sure, this guitar is a looker as it comes, but we think it would be absolutely irresistible with the Fret5 treatment. Charvel, for your consideration.
